Help Required
In my 'Engines Of The Glasgow & South Western Railway', 'Princes Pier Line & Others' and 'Mixed Bag - Steam' collections I have a number of pictures that I have gathered from various sources. If you can supply dates/places/times/names or any other useful information that can either fill gaps or add more information then it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Changes
I will be changing some collections in the groups over the next while. There will be some re-arranging to hopefully make things a bit easier to look at or find, but nothing will be taken away. If you're looking for help just drop me a line.
Cheers!

The Class 253 was later dropped in favour of Class 43 because two power cars carried the same 'set number', and problems arose when for servicing reasons different units were used on a train, which would then display a different number at each end. 43026, 43027, 43034 and 43035 all currently operate with First Great Western. LMS 14509. This engine had an eventful life. Originally a Manson 11 Class 4-4-0 of Glasgow & South Western Railway, the engine was a unique 4 cylinder engine design by James Manson, built in 1897. It was involved in an accident and was rebuilt in 1915, and again in 1922 by Whitelegg, aquiring the name Lord Glenarthur. It became No 394 in 1919 and became LMS 14509 (Class 3P) on grouping. The engine was withdrawn in 1934. Photo taken from a J Arthur Dixon Postcard
    Welcome
Welcome to my Site! It contains my travel, transport and other mixed photos. My galleries were transport and travel orientated to start of with, but now anything goes and my shots tend to be a more mixed theme. The camera I'm currently using is a Fujifilm S5600. I also make use of my pocket camera and my phone's camera on occasion also.

I am adding more galleries or updating galleries on a regular basis, but please check out the older galleries as well as the more recent ones. I hope you enjoy my pictures and come back again often!!

Constructive comments and criticism are most welcome.

    Cheers!!

Where I am not sure about copyright (as a number of older photos not taken by myself have come from various sources) I highlight this fact. If anyone has any queries about these pictures please contact me, and if you wish to use my pictures for any reason please leave me a message and I will be happy to help.
    New Gallery
I have made changes to my Gallery and have decided to split it in two, with the link to the new gallery below. My collections that are non transport related have been moved, making a Travel And Mix Pix 2, and my transport collection have been kept together in this gallery. Hopefully this will make it a bit easier to work through. If you were looking for any of my non transport related images please follow the link below as they have been moved. All the images are still there, but they have their own Gallery now. Any problems please drop me a line.
    Cheers
