| Photo's of Class 158 DMU's used in and around Greater Glasgow, Central and Northern Scotland, and on the East coast. Introduced in 1989, they were manufactured by BREL at Derby. At present they are used by a number of different companies, and will be in service for the forseeable future. All photos taken at Glasgow Queen Street unless otherwise stated. Also included are Class 158's used by other TOC's outside Scotland as and when the chance occurs.
Units in this collection are; FIRST SCOTRAIL (Barbie Livery)-701,705,709,713,717,721,724,725,735,736 (South West Trains Livery)-789* (Alphaline Livery)-871* (unbranded, Northern base blue)-782*,789* * - On long term loan from Northern Rail When First Group were awarded a 3 year extension to the ScotRail franchise in 2008 part of this deal was a new branding of "Scotlands Railway" being introduced and a new blue livery.
